The ToolsWallet ChatGPT Plugin is currently in developer preview while review documentation and submission materials are being prepared. It has not yet been submitted to the OpenAI review portal and is not currently listed on the public ChatGPT Store. This page provides technical architecture specifications, endpoint boundaries, and legal privacy disclosures.
Hosting Architecture & Endpoint Separation
ToolsWallet maintains distinct hosting environments for the public website and the ChatGPT plugin actions:

When enabled, ChatGPT can invoke the ToolsWallet plugin endpoint to compute, parse, and transform data payloads directly within your conversation:
- Tabular & Data Conversion: Transform raw CSV data into structured JSON, restructure tabular records, and parse/validate JSON payloads.
- Text Case & Metrics Transformation: Modify text casing (uppercase, lowercase, title case) and inspect word count and character statistics.
- Prompt & Context Formatting: Clean and prepare structured text bundles optimized for LLM prompting.
Actions Requiring toolswallet.dev
The following tools and actions are not registered as in-chat plugin functions and require visiting the official web platform:
- Unregistered Utilities (Website Only): Academic citation formatting (APA/MLA/IEEE), regex testers, loan EMI calculators, and unit converters run on toolswallet.dev and are not direct plugin actions.
- Client-Side PDF Manipulations: Merging, splitting, and compressing PDFs execute in-browser via WebAssembly on the website so documents never touch remote servers.
- Interactive Visual Editing: Real-time image cropping and canvas adjustments require the browser GUI.
- No WhatsApp Automation: The plugin never sends WhatsApp messages or accesses personal contact lists.
- No Private Repository Access: The plugin never accesses or clones private git repositories.

Encrypted Transport
All tool calls between ChatGPT and the plugin host utilize HTTPS TLS encryption. Tool invocations verify authenticated identifiers.
Application Database Storage
The application code does not persist or store tool inputs or outputs in an application database. Data is handled during request execution.
Plugin Host Logs (20-Day Retention)
Operational request metadata (IP, status code, timestamps) is recorded on the plugin host for security/abuse prevention and rotated on a rolling 20-day schedule.
